We're looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our Analytics team, whose mission is to provide data insights that drive impact and guide strategy. You'll embed on the Host Camp, a small, cross-functional crew that spans across Product and Ops, to deeply understand the problems our Hosts face. You'll partner closely with team leads on strategy, dig into how people actually use Hipcamp to find growth opportunities, and make sure the team is investing in the most impactful projects.
As one of two analysts, the ownership area is large and the autonomy is real. You'll work independently and collaboratively in equal measure, wear a few hats, help set the path when it isn't drawn yet, and find the signal in the ambiguity. You don't wait for a perfectly scoped question and hand a chart back over the fence. Instead, you spot the opportunity, form the hypothesis, validate it quickly, and land the answer that the team can act on. The foundational work that helps the team is as exciting to you as the big, deep analytical projects.
We're also big believers in putting AI to work, and we want someone excited to fold it into how they analyze, automate, and think, and to help the whole team do the same. You use statistics and models to inform your analysis and to co-design better experiments. You're literate enough in ML to read a model, reason about what it's telling you, and ask sharp questions of the people who build them. Above all, you connect the numbers to the decision.
What you'll do
Compensation will be a mix of salary and stock options. It will be highly competitive compared to similar-stage companies and based on location.
Health is essential to happiness. In addition to full health insurance, all team members receive $1K in Hipcash because we believe getting outside is excellent preventative medicine in addition to increasing your creativity, lowering your stress, and making you an overall more awesome human.
We focus on results, not hours. We believe that clearly defined goals combined with great people, empowerment, and autonomy create the best results. We feel confident that inclusive and diverse teams working on an important cause can accomplish extraordinary things.
Hipcamp is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. In fact we are confident that the most inclusive and diverse teams accomplish the most extraordinary results.
