What will you do?
As Curriculum Coordinator, you’ll work closely to support the people in your school and you’ll be an ambassador for our values and a gatekeeper for our great culture. You will have accountability for the following:
  • Support teachers through training and ongoing mentorship
  • You’ll help ensure learning spaces are organized, clean, and inviting
  • Be hands-on helping to deliver a great learning experience for our children and support the team to meet curriculum aims and objectives. Work closely with teachers in other classrooms to model effective teaching techniques.
  • Curriculum – help Kïdo to deliver the best and most up to date curriculum for our children. You’ll provide support for both the Assistant Director and the teaching staff by gathering resources, making copies, and suggesting best practices for curriculum implementation.
  • Relationships – You will encourage open lines of feedback and communication between colleagues, parents, and children. You’ll create meaningful relationships within your team and with parents to provide the best service for our families.
  • Willingness to jump in and celebrate successes with teachers and ability to also acknowledge areas of growth and provide appropriate coaching and support for the team to meet their goals.
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested by the school management
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure that we are providing the best possible care and education to the children and families we serve.

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
  • You are considered qualified if you have one of the following combinations of education/ experience: A. You hold a high school diploma or equivalent (required) AND a Child Development Associate (CDA) B. You hold a Bachelors Degree or higher in early childhood education or related field
  • You must have 4+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
  • Ideal candidates will have some ability to speak Spanish to support with our Spanish curriculum.
