Job Description: Kido International Preschool is seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Person to support the maintenance needs of our preschool facility. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for our children, staff, and visitors. If you have experience in basic plumbing, electrical, general maintenance, and share our core values of Listen, Learn, and Lead, we would love to hear from you!
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, and electrical.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with the preschool Director to ensure a safe and functional learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance work, particularly in plumbing and electrical.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with preschool staff and administration.
- A commitment to the core values of Listen, Learn, and Lead.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in maintenance-related fields preferred.
- This is a 1099 Contractor position - MUST have your own tools.
