Lead Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for lessons and activities using our rich, easy-to-use curriculum provided for you with opportunities to add your own creative ideas as desired.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment to ensure responsive care is provided to each child
  • Desire to build positive relationships with children and families and be able to provide communication to parents through conversations, messaging and taking pictures to share the child's day and growth.
  • A passion for educating young minds in a preschool setting
  • Desire to work as part of a teaching team

Lead Teacher minimum qualifications:

  • HS Diploma/GED required
  • Experience teaching in a licensed preschool setting
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak both Spanish and English
  • Must be Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

  • a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education or related field, OR
  • a CDA (Child Development Associate Certification); AND
  • 5-10 years teaching experience in a licensed childcare setting, OR
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Montessori school setting

Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Support Lead teacher in preparing materials for weekly lessons
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and co-workers
  • Support the team where needed
  • Have a desire to continue to learn and grow as an educator and be open to coaching

Asst. Teacher minimum qualifications:

  • HS Diploma/GED required
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak both Spanish and English
  • Must be Authorized to work in the United States
