Location: Rice Village or Eado Campus (Houston, TX)

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Preschool Assistant Directors to join our leadership team at Kido International Preschool. We are hiring to fill an opening at both our Rice Village or Eado campus.

As an Assistant Director, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations, ensuring high-quality early childhood education, and fostering a positive, engaging environment for children, families, and staff. You will work closely with the Campus Director to uphold Kido’s core values—Listen, Learn, Lead—and maintain excellence in all aspects of preschool management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead & Support Teachers – Guide curriculum implementation, provide training, and mentor educators.
• Maintain Excellence – Ensure a high-quality learning environment that aligns with Reggio-inspired principles.
• Family & Team Engagement – Build strong relationships with families and staff to create a thriving school culture.
• Compliance & Safety – Uphold Texas Minimum Standards and Kïdo policies to ensure operational excellence.
• School Growth – Support enrollment efforts and maintain an inviting school atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Must have a Texas Director Certification.
• Bilingual in Spanish & English (required).
• CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in a licensed childcare center (1+ year in a leadership role required).
• Strong knowledge of Texas childcare regulations.
