I will monitor and action ATC emails.
I will answer and process the ATC telephones.
I will process AFTN (Aeronautical Fixed Telecommunication Network) messages.
I will complete movement logs.
I will process the Flight Progress Strip.
I will manage the bookings for circuit flights, instrument flight training and other flights.
I will prepare and publish Meteorological Observations.
I will act as a guide to visitors to the ATC Tower.
I will fully embody the Airports ‘One Team’ culture and understand that there may be times when I am required to undertake other activities to support the needs of the business.
I understand that the Airport is in operation 24/7 so I may be scheduled and expected to work any shift during operating hours, this will include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays

There are just a handful of skills you need in order to undertake this role, everything else we can teach you, if you can answer yes to all of the below requirements you have the required skills:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
5 GCSE’s at Grade 4 (C) or above, including Maths and English.
