Own the flow of electrical construction materials from receiving through inventory, staging, and fulfillment. This person bridges the warehouse and office by taking administrative pick lists and converting them into accurate, organized build sheets/material packages for field crews.
Core responsibilities
- Create Material charge outs for all Requisitions
- Check and request variance notes for anything overestimated
- Create labor logs and Quality Control Checks
- Receive, inspect, count, and document incoming electrical construction materials.
- Verify materials against requisitions and order as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and identify shortages, overages, or discrepancies.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory for efficient retrieval.
- Coordinate with project teams when materials are unavailable, backordered, or require substitution.
- Track material movement in and out of the warehouse.
- Create labels for and label all wire/cable requisitions
- Maintain accurate documentation and records within company systems.
- Help improve warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and material fulfillment processes
- Communicate effectively with purchasing, project management, administrators, and field personnel.=
Must-have qualifications
- Experience with inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience receiving, counting, organizing, and issuing materials.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand material lists, pick lists, and basic construction documentation.
- Ability to prioritize multiple material requests and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Electrical construction material experience preferred.
