Location:

This role requires all job responsibilities to be performed in the office, Monday - Friday. Candidates must be based within a 50-mile commuting distance of the Plano, Texas office.

About the Role:

As an Escrow Support Specialist - Funding on the Mainstay National Title (MNT) team, you will receive a wonderful introduction to the escrow funding process! You are accountable for reviewing funds that are prepared for disbursement against invoices, the settlement statement, and other information in ResWare, along with printing the checks that correspond with these disbursements and preparing them for shipping to the proper recipients. You must pay strong attention to detail and communicate effectively with closers and pre-closers within MNT.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Review items awaiting disbursement
  • Compare disbursement items against supporting documents to ensure accuracy
  • Review the incoming and outgoing payments in a file to ensure that the ledger is in balance
  • Communicate issues to closers and pre-closers, advising of what is needed to allow funds to be disbursed
  • Create checks and prepare disbursed funds for final QC and shipping
  • Work with and support other departments to achieve company goals.
  • Supports other Shared Services teams as applicable
  • Other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Satisfy Texas licensed activities as applicable  

Skills Needed:

  • High School diploma
  • Experience working in a high-touch customer service environment 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven, remote-based environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Attention to detail, organization and able to multitask
  • Effective problem-solving skills, so you are both proactive and solutions-oriented
  • Must be able to work in-office 
  • Texas Escrow License

Bonus Points if:

  • Experience in the closing industry reviewing HUD’s and/or a variety of closing documents 


Compensation: 

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.  This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.  The base budgeted pay range for this position is $20.77 - $28.56 hourly. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific hourly range for the job location during the hiring process.
