About the Role
We’re looking for a Director of Finance & Business Operations to support the COO and leadership team in two key areas: (1) strategic finance / FP&A and (2) business operations. This role reports to the COO. This is a strategic, high-impact role where you’ll be working directly with leadership on projects that touch virtually every

part of the business.

This role is for someone who wants to build, and take on an ambitious opportunity at the intersection of gaming and technology. Ownership, self-drive and a can-do attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

Strategic Finance

• Own financial forecast and model for the company and business lines.
• Business modeling for our various business and product lines including pricing, market forecasting and unit economics.
• Manage and interface with the company’s accounting/finance/tax partner (need basic accounting and tax knowledge to contribute here).
• Support Board and meeting preparation.
• Support custom solution proposals from a finance POV for top priority Enterprise engagements.
• Support strategic partnerships and corporate development projects. 

Business Operations

• Lead business operations including people+payroll, product support, sales & marketing support
• Develop and standardize operating dashboards and reporting for leadership, sales, marketing and finance.
• Contribute to high priority growth initiatives alongside product, sales and marketing.
• Optimize operational workflows as needed.

Requirements

• 6-10+ years total experience
• • 2-4+ years of the following experience: finance, bizops, investment banking or related fields. 
  • 2-4+ years of company operations; startup experience is a plus. 
• Strong financial modeling (excel/sheets) and 3 statement accounting fluency (the role requires interfacing at a high level with our accounting support team 1-2x a month).
• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills; 
• Need to be able to write memos and draft slides independently
• Able to manage and maintain multiple projects and tasks.

  • Comp: Carta, Pave or related
  • Finance: Quickbooks, Bill.com, Brex
• Experience with leveraging AI for day-to-day work and optimizing workflows.
• Travel a few times a year for company offsites and industry events.
• Ownership, self-drive, follow through and initiative are hard requirements.
