About the role


Role type: Permanent Full time, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Location: Field Based - on client sites, mostly in North London


We are seeking Site Manager role to be responsible for overseeing and managing the teams and site work being conducted on assigned client sites.  You will be responsible for ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations and client expectations. You will drive a culture of accountability and excellence across all aspects of project delivery.



What you will be doing

  • Oversee daily site operations, ensuring passive fire protection installations (e.g., fire stopping, cavity barriers, fire doors) are delivered to specification, on time and within budget.
  • Ensure all work complies with BS 476, BS EN 1366, and FIRAS/third-party accreditation standards.
  • Enforce site safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure method statements are followed.
  •  Supervise site operatives, subcontractors, and liaise with suppliers and other stakeholders.
  • Act as the main point of contact for housing associations, maintaining excellent relationships and handling any concerns or updates professionally.
  •  Maintain detailed site records including site diaries, QA documentation, fire-stopping reports, photographs, and progress updates.
  • Ensure works meet required quality standards through inspections and sign-off processes.
  • Coordinate deliveries, waste management, and materials handling on site.
  • Identify issues proactively and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Promote a positive company culture by motivating and inspiring its adoption across the organisation.


What we're looking for


Essential:

  • Able to identify and assess firestopping, fire doors, and compartment walls/floors
  • Familiar with passive fire protection systems
  • Knowledge of building construction and materials
  • Hold a valid CSCS card (gold/black preferred)
  • Hold a valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification
  • Full clean UK manual driving licence
  • Safety focused approach to customers and work colleagues
  • Collaborative, communicative, and adaptable with a proactive mindset.
  • Demonstrated competence in operating IT systems, such as handheld tablets and digital communicators

Desirable:

  • Experience in working in the social housing sector
  • PASMA qualification
  • Qualified First Aider
  • FIRAS, BM TRADA, or similar third-party accreditation experience.
  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Construction or Passive Fire Protection.
  • Asbestos Awareness certification.
