Role and Responsibilities
We’re currently seeking a full-time Data Support Associate II to help improve the performance of renewable energy facilities through site data that is complete, accurate and timely. You will collaborate on a team that is designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions that enhance the toolset available to developers, owners, and operators of renewable energy generation and storage assets around the world.
Responsibilities include:
- Receive and fulfill application support requests from wide range of customer stakeholders
- Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and issues to verify that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved
- Document application support procedures and deliver to internal / external audiences
- Document activity and coordinate via Project Management systems
- Support and contribute on various project activities, including SCRUM meetings, project plan updates, internal communication, tracking progress of tasks, and follow-up
- Participate in client presentations and functionality demonstrations
Additionally, a successful candidate will be able to communicate clearly with internal personnel, clients, and partners to translate complex issues and requirements into actionable next steps and deliverables. They must be highly organized with the ability to keep track of multiple simultaneous projects.
Preferred Experience
- At least 2 years IT/OT systems management experience and knowledge in: server hardware; network infrastructure; firewall configuration; cybersecurity; and data storage
- Experience with Data Acquisition System (DAS) or SCADA software platforms
- Ability to read electrical, network, infrastructure, and cabling drawings
- Scripting and task automation
- Understanding of SaaS cloud-delivered software, data integration and remote collaboration
- Knowledgeable of SDLC and specifically web applications
- Excels at coordinating efforts via Trello and Jira
- Prior experience with visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Redash) is a plus
- Experience working cross-functionally in both technical and non-technical team settings
Required Qualification & Education
- Minimum 2 years of related professional experience
- Direct or indirect end-user service experience and/or experience providing remote support
- Proven capability to work on a remote team
