Insurance Restoration Technician

Tired of waiting around for a promotion?

Here’s your chance to be part of something new and grow with it.

We’re building a brand-new restoration division in QLD, and we’re looking for a hands-on problem solver who’s ready to step up.

Who are we?

At Reconstruct™, we don’t just restore properties, we help people get their lives back on track. We specialise in high-quality insurance repair projects for homes and commercial spaces affected by fire, flood, and storm damage

We’re expanding into Queensland and looking for someone who wants to grow with us from the ground up. You won’t be stepping into a tired old system; this is your chance to help shape how we do things here.

About the role

As a Restoration Technician, you’ll be on the frontline of disaster recovery. You’ll respond to emergencies, assess damage, and carry out critical restoration work. One day you might be remediating water damage, the next responding to storm-affected properties or managing mould removal.

It’s varied, hands-on work that’s never boring. And because we’re just getting started in QLD, you’ll be one of the first on the ground, with a real chance to carve out a leadership role as we grow.

With this role, you’re not just filling a position, you’re helping shape how we do things here.

  • Restore affected properties through light repair and renovation
  • Communicate with clients and project managers throughout each job

About you

  • At least 3+ years of experience as a Restoration Technician or in a similar trade-based role.
  • Solid knowledge of water damage, fire, smoke, and mould remediation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to challenges on the fly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and your team.
  • A high level of physical fitness for demanding tasks.
  • Valid driver’s licence, police check, and working with children check
  • Basic computer skills to document and track progress.
