Job Description

The Director, Brand & Communications will lead the strategy and execution of The Redesign Group’s brand, creative, content, corporate communications, social media, and digital experience. This role is responsible for strengthening Redesign’s brand, visibility, and reputation while ensuring the company tells a clear, differentiated, and compelling story across every channel and touchpoint. The Director will set strategy and standards across the function while remaining closely connected to the work, personally contributing to high-priority messaging, content, communications, and creative initiatives when needed.


Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this leader will oversee a multidisciplinary team spanning graphic design, content, and website design and development. The ideal candidate combines strong brand and creative instincts with exceptional storytelling and communications expertise, strategic thinking, operational discipline, and a willingness to lead from strategy through execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Redesign’s brand strategy and stewardship, ensuring a consistent and differentiated brand identity, voice, messaging, and experience across all internal and external touchpoints.
  • Own corporate communications and public relations, including company announcements, press releases, media relations, awards and recognition, executive thought leadership, and proactive opportunities to strengthen Redesign’s visibility, credibility, and reputation.
  • Shape Redesign’s company narrative and external messaging, partnering with executive leadership to communicate company growth, strategic initiatives, partnerships, customer successes, industry perspectives, and other key developments.
  • Lead content and editorial strategy and execution across sales collateral, articles, case studies, news stories, thought leadership, executive content, social media, and other marketing and corporate communications, personally writing, editing, reviewing or shaping high-priority content as needed.
  • Provide strategic leadership across creative and design, guiding creative direction, visual storytelling, graphic design, brand standards, and the development of high-impact marketing and sales assets.
  • Lead Redesign’s social media strategy and presence, overseeing editorial planning, channel strategy, content development, executive amplification, and programs that strengthen awareness, engagement, and thought leadership.
  • Oversee the company website and digital brand experience, including website strategy, design, development, content, optimization, and ongoing evolution.
  • Partner closely with GTM teams and executive leadership to translate business priorities, technical expertise, and market opportunities into compelling narratives, campaigns, content, and communications.
  • Define and track performance measures across brand, communications, content, social, and digital channels, using data and insights to evaluate effectiveness, demonstrate business impact, and continuously optimize strategy and execution.
  • Build and lead a high-performing function, developing team members while establishing scalable processes, governance, prioritization, and performance measures.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive experience across brand marketing, corporate communications, public relations, content, creative, or related disciplines, including experience leading teams and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and evolve a B2B brand and communications strategy across owned, earned, social, and digital channels.
  • Experience leading corporate communications and PR initiatives, including press releases, media outreach, company announcements, executive thought leadership, awards, and reputation-building programs.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, messaging, and storytelling skills, with the ability to personally develop high-impact content and translate complex business and technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Strong creative judgment with experience guiding visual and written work across brand, content, social media, sales enablement, and digital experiences.
  • Experience within B2B technology, IT services, cybersecurity, professional services, or another complex solutions environment strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution, build scalable processes, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively with executives, Sales leaders, subject matter experts, and creative teams.

Additional Compensation: This position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation and/or bonus opportunities based on individual and company performance.
