ABOUT THE ROLE

In 2024, Relentless is running a first-of-its-kind compensated relational program at scale across five battleground states using Rally. This program will hire 20,000+ low turnout voters to become relational organizers in their communities and turn their friends and families out to vote. 

The Late Help Organizer will play a crucial role in providing assistance and guidance to program applicants and participants.

A great Late Help Organizer is someone who has great people skills. This person is someone who demonstrates patience and is excited to chat with applicants about their role and help them complete the program.  You love connecting people with the info and resources they need; you get satisfaction out of being helpful; and you are passionate about making a difference in the 2024 election. 

The Late Help Organizer will support the Recruitment and Special Projects teams. 

DETAILS & COMPENSATION

This is a part-time, remote, and temporary position with an end date of November 6, 2024. This position will be expected to work 5-30 hours per week and will be paid $23/hr.

JOB DUTIES

• This role encompasses potential responsibilities on two teams: Recruitment and Chase; we are looking for individuals who are comfortable in both roles and able to switch seamlessly between the two as needed

• Recruitment Texting

  • You will be a part of our recruitment texting team, working to recruit individuals to the Voting Ambassador position; you will be responsible for replying to and appropriately marking all conversations within Scale to Win 

• Support Calls

  • You will be a part of our Support and Chase team working to ensure that individuals who have applied and been accepted as a Voting Ambassador, know when their onboarding is, how to get on their onboarding, and understand requirements of the program; Think classic campaign Get Out the Vote confirm calls!

• Other duties as assigned

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work in a highly collaborative remote work environment. This position is entirely virtual and applicants will need access to reliable internet and be proficient in using online tools (Slack, Zoom, Google workspace, etc) to do this job.

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

• Is comfortable working in a fast-paced campaign environment (especially one that scales quickly), and learning new skills quickly.

• Takes initiative to support others, provide help and problem solve with empathy.

• A passion for democratic political activism and progressive values.

• Not required but would love to know if you have any of the below:

  • Familiarity with Peer to Peer texting platforms (Spoke, Scale to Win, Strive, etc)

  • Experience working with relational programs

  • Experience with phone banking
