We're looking for an Engineering Manager for the Infra & DevEx Team who is driven and enjoys making changes in a fast-moving environment. In this role, you will manage the Infra & DevEx Team consisting of engineers to speed up all deliverables from other software product teams and to ensure a standard of development experience. Your day working at RentSpree includes planning, directing, coordinating, supporting, and monitoring activities of the Infra & DevEx Team in coordinating with one or more software product teams involved in the analysis, design, development, and implementation initiatives.


About Infra & DevEx Team

Infra & DevEx Team is responsible for aspects including Infrastructure, Frameworks, Processes, Shared Services, Internal Development tools, Best Practices, etc., i.e., incorporating all development modules to ensure product development experience and expedite product development activities. From an organizational aspect, we are the backbone of the Engineering Department, which is having a rapid growth in the number of technologies and engineers. All Engineers and All Teams, including both Product Development and Data, are our customers.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • Fluent in Thai and Intermediate English skills (Speaking, Writing, and Reading)
  • 3+ years experience in managing multiple Software Engineering teams that successfully delivered to customers with Agile principles (DevOps or Platform-team will be a plus) and 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Experienced in people management and Experienced in recruiting talents and building teams are preferred.
  • Proven experience in building and fostering a positive engineering culture focused on learning, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Having a professional record in Technical Roles is a plus.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of engineers in the Infra & DevEx Team and be an effective people manager to a team of high-performing members.
  • Provide support and mentorship to Engineers and Technical Lead to collaborate with Senior Engineers, Staff Engineers, Principal Engineers, and CTO to develop effective strategies and roadmap.
  • Develop and communicate a transparent roadmap to stakeholders and leadership and prepare regular progress reports and share them with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Motivate and inspire team members to develop and achieve great work.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, provide feedback, mentor and guide career development.
  • Develop career development plan, review progress, and continuously evaluate team performance to meet company standards.
  • Manage resource allocation and capacity planning for Infra and DevEx projects.
  • Ensure effective communication between cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver best quality work
  • Maintain and improve company core values and culture to provide the best working environment.
  • Involve in team expansion and scaling at a fast growth rate.
  • Effectively scale the team by attracting and mentoring extraordinary people at various levels of experience to grow a well-balanced, high-performing team.
