About This Role

At Revv, we are transforming the auto repair industry with AI-powered technology that makes vehicle repairs safer and more efficient. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in building scalable, high-performance applications that power our cutting-edge solutions for auto repair shops.

You will work across the entire tech stack, from designing and implementing robust backend services to creating intuitive and responsive user interfaces. This role requires deep expertise in Node.js, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, and AWS, along with a passion for delivering scalable, maintainable, and secure applications.

As a key contributor, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build impactful features, drive best practices, and continuously improve our platform.

Responsibilities

Software Development & Architecture

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient code across both front-end and back-end components of our ADAS software suite.
• Lead architectural decisions and code reviews to ensure high-quality engineering practices.
• Develop robust APIs and microservices that enable seamless data flow and system integrations.
• Ship 1 hard, 2 medium, and 3 easy features every two weeks to maintain high shipping velocity.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product and customer teams, to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure alignment between technical and business goals, proactively addressing challenges and opportunities.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying best practices to improve our engineering processes.
• Enhance system performance, security, and scalability as we continue to grow.
• Drive continuous learning and improvement within the engineering team.

Qualifications

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of industry experience in software development with a track record of delivering high-impact projects.
• Strong experience designing and implementing scalable architectures, bringing products from concept to completion.
• Background in high-growth startups or fast-paced environments preferred.
• Experience at a SaaS startup that crossed a billion-dollar valuation preferred.
• Prior experience as a founder is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Node.js, React, TypeScript, Postgres, Redis, AWS (or the ability to quickly execute within these technologies).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for building safe, accurate, and defensive software.
• Commitment to code quality and testing, including unit testing and best engineering practices.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Quick to read documents and implement code efficiently.

Bonus Qualifications

• Knowledge of the automotive industry and its evolving technological landscape.
• Experience with machine learning and AI-driven software solutions.

Compensation Range

• The compensation range for this role is $150,000 - $170,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
