What you'll do

• Be a contributor to the Sentient Protocol (see the Sentient whitepaper), from designing PoCs on testnet to a full production architecture on mainnet, able to clearly outline the engineering requirements according to product timelines
• In detail and according to product requirements, design and implement Sentient’s smart contracts and off-chain ecosystem zero-to-one including:
  • Integrations with off-chain components through oracles and managing trust assumptions
  • Design and implementation of each smart contract, with proper gas optimizations
  • Translation of OML team’s AI model security research into a real blockchain product
  • Comprehensive testing and audit of the entire system
  • Handling and optimizing for large transactions volumes
  • Governance and asset tokenization principles
  • Staking and slashing protocols for network participants
  • Collaboration with ecosystem partners where appropriate on building components of the ecosystem

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in end-to-end Smart Contracts development for large challenging blockchain projects
• Proven track record of the ability to independently lead, design, and execute
• Mastery in writing and deploying smart contracts in Solidity
• Deep expertise in blockchains, tokenomics, and systems:
  • Blockchain finality
  • Checkpointing, snapshots
  • Full nodes, light nodes, archival nodes
  • Security attacks and audits
  • Distributed systems and consistency models
  • EVM internals as described by the Ethereum whitepaper and yellowpaper
  • Gas fee optimizations
  • Incentive structures and tokenomics
  • Upgradable smart contracts
