The Role:

We are seeking qualified and experienced Landing Officers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our vertiport facilities. This critical dual-role position combines operational oversight with emergency response leadership, requiring a highly skilled professional who can supervise vertiport operations, ground handling, and emergency situations across rotating shift patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Safety & Operations Management:

o   Ensure vertiport operational safety for aircraft operations

o   Deny unauthorized access to vertiport landing areas during aircraft operation

o   Maintain constant presence during all aircraft operations

o   Conduct daily vertiport pre-operations inspections

·       Ground Operations:

o   Oversee ground operations, passenger and baggage handling                 

o   Supervise aircraft turnarounds and charging procedures

o   Conduct aircraft pre-departure safety checks

o   Maintain readiness of ground operations and aircraft charging equipment

·       Emergency Response:

o   Serve as Emergency Response Team Leader

o   Maintain and inspect firefighting and rescue equipment and PPE

o   Coordinate emergency response and handover to local emergency services

·       Administrative Duties:

o   Maintain vertiport documentation and records

o   Support terminal operations

o   Ensure compliance with certification regulatory obligations

About You:

• Helideck, Heliport or Aviation operations experience essential
• Emergency response and firefighting training essential
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations
• Physical fitness for emergency response duties
• Valid security clearance (or ability to obtain)
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
• Commitment to dual-role responsibilities combining operations and emergency response
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Valid technical training certificates
• Valid security clearance (or ability to obtain)
