Job Title: Barista (Part-time)
We are seeking a talented and energetic Barista to work for City-Sofive in our busy soccer and recreational facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages, taking orders from customers, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and provide excellent customer service
- Take orders accurately and convey them to the kitchen staff
- Prepare a variety of coffee and tea-based beverages to customer specifications
- Ensure food items are prepared according to established standards of quality, consistency, and timelines.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on coffee equipment, including the espresso machine, grinder, and blender
- Restock supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the dining area, kitchen, and storage areas
- Uphold all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations and customer service standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry preferred
- Knowledge of coffee roasting and brewing methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexible scheduling availability, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Working Conditions:
- The job may require working early morning, late evening, or holiday hours
- The job may require working in a fast-paced, stressful environment
