This is a versatile field position responsible for completing repairs, property restoration, punch-list work, and general construction tasks associated with SpartanX projects. You'll work across multiple trades, including drywall, siding, carpentry, concrete, landscaping, painting, trenching, and general property repairs.

You'll also support our Service and Inspection teams when needed, helping resolve field issues, complete corrective work, address property damage, and ensure every project meets SpartanX quality standards.

We're looking for someone who can walk onto a property, figure out what needs to be done, and take ownership of getting it done correctly.

What You’ll Do

Construction & Property Repairs

  • Perform general construction repairs and corrective work at residential properties
  • Diagnose construction issues and determine appropriate repair methods
  • Complete punch-list items and property restoration work
  • Repair installation-related property damage

  • Complete minor concrete repairs, patching, filling, and finishing
  • Perform trenching and properly restore disturbed areas
  • Repair landscaping affected by construction, including grass, soil, rock, mulch, and irrigation components
  • Perform interior and exterior painting, touch-ups, caulking, priming, and finish work
  • Match existing finishes and leave completed repairs clean and professional

Service & Inspection Support

  • Assist Service Technicians with repairs and corrective work as needed
  • Support Inspection teams with field corrections and property-related issues
  • Identify and resolve construction deficiencies before they become customer escalations
  • Support troubleshooting and corrective work within your skill level
  • Provide required photographs and documentation of completed work
  • Escalate electrical, structural, roofing, or other specialized issues requiring a licensed or qualified professional

Customer & Property Care

  • Represent SpartanX professionally at customer properties
  • Treat customer homes and property with care and respect
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners when interaction is required
  • Protect landscaping, vehicles, personal belongings, and surrounding property while completing work
  • Remove construction debris and leave work areas clean
  • Take ownership of workmanship and correct deficiencies when identified

What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrated general construction experience
  • Working knowledge of multiple construction trades
  • Experience performing drywall repairs
  • Ability to perform siding and exterior repairs
  • Basic to intermediate carpentry skills
  • Experience with painting and finish work
  • Ability to perform minor concrete repairs
  • Experience with trenching and ground restoration
  • Ability to perform basic landscaping and property restoration
  • Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel based on business needs
  • Must have and maintain personal tools appropriate for the position

Preferred Qualifications

  • Residential construction experience
  • Solar, roofing, electrical, or home-improvement experience
  • Experience performing service or warranty repairs
  • Experience working from punch lists
  • Experience documenting field work through mobile applications
  • OSHA or other relevant construction safety training

Tools & Equipment

This position requires the Construction Technician to provide and maintain their own professional hand tools and commonly required construction tools. Specialized equipment may be provided by SpartanX when required.

Schedule & Travel

Primarily Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturday availability required.

This position requires local travel between job sites and may include regional travel, occasional overnight travel, or temporary assignments in other SpartanX markets based on operational needs.

What We Offer

  • $25–$30/hour based on experience
  • Full-time position
  • Consistent field-based work
  • Opportunity to work across multiple construction trades
  • Training and professional development
  • Career advancement opportunities within a rapidly growing organization
  • Opportunity to support Construction Operations, Service, and Inspections across multiple markets

Why SpartanX?

Our Construction Technicians are the people who make sure the job is actually finished.

Whether it's repairing drywall, restoring a yard after trenching, fixing siding, completing a punch list, or stepping in to resolve a field issue, you'll help protect the customer experience and ensure our work meets SpartanX standards.

If you're a versatile construction professional who takes pride in your work, solves problems instead of walking past them, and believes the property should look right when you leave, we want to hear from you.
