What’s the Job?
We are seeking a strategic Manager of Field Sales & Partnership Marketing to build and maintain partnerships with global educational institutions while executing comprehensive field marketing and events strategies. This role combines relationship building, event management, and guerilla marketing in key markets to drive student recruitment through school-based channels and regional field activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience in education marketing, relationship management, and event coordination, with a passion for connecting schools, parents, and students with transformative experiential education opportunities. This role requires someone who can think strategically about market penetration while excelling at tactical execution of field sales initiatives and school partnership programs.
This position requires extensive travel (50% of the time) for school visits, educational conferences, college fairs, and regional field sales activities across both domestic US markets and international locations. Travel includes overnight trips, weekend events during peak recruitment seasons, and international travel to key global markets for school relationship building and event participation.
This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful partnerships in the education community while directly impacting student access to life-changing experiential learning opportunities.
The position is hybrid with 3 in-person days per week in the NYC or Stamford, CT offices.
Role & Responsibilities
Event Management & Coordination
- Plan and execute comprehensive global event strategy as part of field sales plan including college fairs, school visits, regional information sessions, and educational conferences across US and international markets
- Coordinate event staffing including sales team assignments, training, and performance expectations for both domestic and international events
- Staff events personally to ensure brand representation, lead capture, and relationship building with school partners and prospective families
- Ensure consistent brand representation and professional presentation at all events and school interactions worldwide
- Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations for optimal cost-effectiveness across different markets and currencies
- Develop event-specific marketing materials, promotional items, and lead capture systems adapted for local markets and cultural preferences
School Relationship Development & Management
- Build and nurture relationships with high schools, independent schools, and international schools globally to establish program referral partnerships across US and international markets
- Develop comprehensive global school partnership strategy including market prioritization, cultural considerations, and region-specific approaches
- Develop new school partnerships by identifying target institutions worldwide, conducting outreach, and presenting program value propositions to key decision makers
- Maintain and expand existing school relationships through regular communication, program updates, and customized partnership offerings tailored to local markets
- Create school-specific marketing materials and presentations adapted for different countries, cultures, and educational systems
- Serve as a key liaison between international and domestic schools and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and program coordination
Performance Tracking & Analytics
- Develop and maintain comprehensive KPI dashboard tracking school partnership performance, lead generation, and conversion metrics
- Monitor key performance indicators including school engagement rates, referral volume, application conversion, and enrollment outcomes by institution
- Analyze school performance data to identify high-value partnerships and optimization opportunities
- Track competitive landscape and school partner feedback to inform program positioning and partnership strategies
- Establish benchmarking systems to measure partnership success and identify areas for improvement
Field Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop regional and local field sales strategies aligned with overall enrollment and revenue objectives
- Conduct market analysis to identify high-opportunity regions, events, and school districts for targeted outreach
- Create annual field sales calendar coordinating events, school visits, college fairs, and regional marketing activities
- Collaborate with sales team to align field marketing efforts with lead generation and conversion goals
- Design territory-specific approaches based on regional demographics, competition, and market characteristics
- Establish field sales budget and resource allocation to maximize ROI across different markets and activities
Project Management & Field Sales Coordination
- Project manage all field sales activities from planning through execution and post-event follow-up
- Coordinate logistics for school visits, college fairs, and educational conferences including scheduling, materials, and staffing
- Develop standardized processes and workflows for field sales activities to ensure consistent execution and quality
- Manage field sales calendar and coordinate with internal teams to optimize resource allocation and avoid conflicts
- Create detailed project timelines, task assignments, and accountability measures for all field marketing initiatives
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between marketing, sales, and operations teams for seamless field sales execution
Lead Generation & Sales Support
- Implement lead capture and qualification processes at all field marketing events and school interactions
- Coordinate with sales team to ensure timely and effective follow-up on all field-generated leads
- Develop lead scoring and prioritization systems based on event source, school partnership, and prospect engagement
- Create sales enablement materials specific to school partnerships and field sales scenarios
- Track lead progression from field events through application completion and enrollment
- Provide sales team with market intelligence, school insights, and competitive information gathered through field activities
Success Metrics
- Number of new school partnerships established and existing relationships expanded
- School partnership performance including referral volume, conversion rates, and enrollment outcomes
- Field sales activity metrics including events attended, schools visited, and presentations delivered
- Lead quality and sales team satisfaction with field-generated prospects

Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Education, Business, or related field
- 4-6 years of experience in education marketing, school relations, or field sales management
- Proven track record in relationship building with educational institutions and school administrators
- Strong project management skills with experience coordinating multiple events and initiatives simultaneously
- Experience with CRM systems, lead management, and sales analytics platforms
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to engage diverse educational stakeholders
- Proficiency in event planning and logistics coordination including vendor management and budget oversight
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in experiential education, summer programs, or youth development industries
- Experience with email marketing platforms and creative design tools, like Canva, a plus
- Previous experience working with high schools, independent schools, or educational consultants
- Knowledge of college admissions landscape and pre-college program market
- Experience with trade show management and educational conference participation
- Familiarity with international school markets and study abroad programs
- Understanding of regional market dynamics and educational demographics
