About the role


Occupational Therapists are responsible for leading patient care and supporting clinic success by:

  • Leading patient care with a holistic, client-centered approach that addresses pelvic health, functional mobility, activities of daily living (ADLs), and participation in meaningful life activities
  • Synthesizing information from patient referrals, medical records, and histories to develop a thorough understanding of each patient’s needs
  • Diagnosing occupational performance limitations via assessment of daily routines, pelvic floor function, ergonomic practices, self-care, and psychosocial factors
  • Developing and implementing individualized plans of care, using evidence-based interventions including education, manual therapy, therapeutic activities, adaptive strategies, and lifestyle modification
  • Evaluating and documenting patient progress, using outcomes to refine and advance treatment plans
  • Collaborating seamlessly with PTs and other providers to offer integrative, interdisciplinary care
  • Building awareness and understanding of pelvic OT with referring providers, staff, and patients, using excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate the value of occupational therapy interventions in pelvic health
  • Engaging with providers, clinics, and the community in a “provider sales/marketing” capacity to educate, advocate, and build referral relationships
  • Serving as a resource, educator, and champion for the growth of pelvic health occupational therapy at Origin
  • Clinical instruction of at least 1 student rotation per year after the first year of treatment in your specialty area
  • Other tasks as assigned

  • Facilitation of care that creates meaningful outcomes (in partnership / mentorship with other providers as necessary)

About you



  • Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of California
  • Deep interest in women’s health, pelvic health, and supporting individuals’ participation in meaningful activities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; able to clearly articulate the distinct value of pelvic OT to both patients and referring providers
  • Comfort with and enthusiasm for provider education, relationship-building, and basic provider “sales/marketing”
  • Flexible, proactive, and excited to help pioneer and build Origin's presence in the Pelvic Health Occupational Therapy sphere/community

Bonus points 



  • Experience or certification in pelvic health occupational therapy (not required, but highly valued)
  • Previous experience in program development, clinical education, or marketing within healthcare


Salary Information


  • $80,000 - $120,000  +monthly bonus opportunities


The pay range for this role is:

80,000 - 120,000 USD per year (Los Angeles, CA)
