Enterprise Account Executive

ThoughtSpot is a Data & AI platform that helps companies turn data into enterprise advantage. We're Gartner MQ leaders with more than 1,000 customers globally and offices in Mountain View, Chicago, London, Bangalore, Sydney, and Tokyo.

The Role:

We started by giving humans a better way to ask questions of data. Spotter turned that into an AI analyst that reasons over governed enterprise data. Now we're bringing that same agentic approach deeper into Germany and the wider DACH region, backed by an enterprise customer base that already trusts ThoughtSpot with its most important decisions.

ThoughtSpot lets business users ask questions in natural language and get instant, governed answers on live data, then extends that reasoning into agentic workflows across the business. Unlike legacy BI tools that make customers wait on IT for pre-built dashboards, ThoughtSpot puts answers directly in the hands of the people asking the questions.

We're looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to own and grow ThoughtSpot's largest accounts across Germany. You'll be based in Germany, working remotely, with direct access to sales leadership, a dedicated solutions engineer, and marketing and customer success support from day one plus the full weight of an established enterprise customer base and partner network behind every deal.

Your Goal: find the enterprise plays that win in Germany, land and expand the region's flagship accounts, and build the relationships that turn first deals into a durable, repeatable book of business.

What You'll Do:

  • Own your territory. Build and run the account plan for enterprise deals across Germany, from pipeline generation to close.
  • Run complex enterprise cycles. Navigate multiple stakeholders, technical evaluations, and procurement to get to yes.
  • Build the relationship, not the transaction. Get close to economic buyers and champions, understand what they're trying to achieve, and stay the trusted partner after the deal closes.
  • Bring in the team. Pull in solutions engineering, customer success, and leadership at the right moments to move deals forward.
  • Know the platform cold. Understand Spotter, ThoughtSpot Analytics, ThoughtSpot Embedded, and ThoughtSpot Mode well enough to position the right fit for each customer's problem.
  • Forecast with discipline. Keep an accurate pipeline and flag changes early — no surprises, no excuses, at quarter close.

What You Bring:

  • This is a high-ownership enterprise sales role. You'll have the resources and brand of an established Gartner-leading platform behind you, and the freedom to run your territory the way you see fit.
  • You have a track record closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise software deals, ideally in data, analytics, or AI.
  • You're fluent in German and English and understand how enterprise buyers in the DACH market make decisions.
  • You build relationships for the long term. Customers are people betting their careers on the product, not logos to close and move past.
  • You play every deal like it's the one that matters most, and you come back sharper after the ones you lose.
  • You're comfortable navigating ambiguity and building your own playbook rather than following a rigid script.
  • You collaborate naturally with solutions engineering, marketing, and customer success to win as a team.
  • You're based in Germany and can work with customers and colleagues across the DACH region and Europe.
  • We value what you've built vs your title or years of experience.
