About the role

We’re looking for a strategic, results-oriented VP of Growth & Performance marketing to own and scale our demand generation strategy across paid media, affiliate marketing, and other performance-driven channels. This leader will drive lead volume while optimizing for cost and quality. This role will manage a team executing across multiple channels with a combined ad spend of $3 million. You’ll oversee a high-performing team that includes our Director of Marketing and Director of Online Media Buying, and collaborate closely with other department heads to align marketing initiatives with business goals. 


We are at a key inflection point of rapid scale, with ambitious goals to 7-10x lead volume over the next 12 months while reducing cost per acquisition. You’ll play a pivotal role in reshaping how we generate, qualify, and convert demand across every channel.  This role has a clear path to Chief Marketing Officer, with visibility across the executive team and influence over company-wide performance strategy.


What you'll do

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive growth strategy across all lead generation channels including but not limited to digital affiliate marketing, online media buying, SEO, radio, TV, pay-per-call and traditional advertising. 
  • Own performance KPIs including lead volume, cost-per-lead, conversion rate, and ROI across all marketing initiatives.
  • Lead a marketing team of 10 people across internal media buying, affiliate marketing, analytics and web services.
  • Optimize the media buying function to ensure efficient and scalable acquisition through platforms such as Facebook, Google, TikTok, programmatic, etc. 
  • Lead development of websites and landing pages by directing the team of designers, developers and multi-variant split testers.
  • Manage and grow our affiliate marketing program such as recruiting high-quality partners, ensuring compliance, and maximizing results.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Operations, Intake) to ensure leads meet quality standards and convert effectively. 
  • Mentor and manage a team of marketing leaders and specialists, ensuring alignment, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Leverage data and analytics to continuously iterate on strategies, test new channels, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Report to executive leadership on marketing performance, trends, and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth, or demand generation roles including leadership in high-growth environments.
  • Previously managed over $1 million per month in ad spend.
  • Proven success scaling lead generation programs particularly affiliate marketing and media buying.
  • Deep knowledge of paid digital channels, including Facebook/Meta, Google Ads, Youtube, Reddit, native advertising, and programmatic platforms. 
  • Strong business intelligence and analytics skills.
  • Experience managing and growing affiliate programs and partnerships.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills with a bias toward execution. 
  • Experience managing cross-functional marketing teams with direct leadership of managers. 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in legal marketing or performance-based lead generation.
  • Experience with Everflow or other affiliate tracking platform
  • Experience with Leadspedia or other lead distribution platform.
  • Experience with call tracking platforms.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements in regulated industries.
  • Experience working with legal intake teams or CRM optimization.
