SALARY $75,000 per annum plus superannuation
REPORTS TO Marketing and Communications Manager
ABOUT THE ROLE As the CRM Marketing Specialist, you play the crucial role of driving our Customer Relationship Management program (CRM), optimising performance and recommending ways to help us deliver on our mission to be the best part of someone’s day at every touchpoint in the customer journey.
You are responsible for the design, copywriting, audience segmentation, database management and statistics reporting of all digital campaigns and automations. You will strategically use channels such as EDM, SMS and the Upsate App to drive member acquisition, conversion and retention at every point in their Upstate experience.
You will also support the wider marketing and communications team with digital assets that ensure consistent brand design and copy across multi-channel campaigns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
CRM Management: · Manage all email marketing, SMS, push notification and in-app campaigns · Manage the CRM platform including optimising member journeys, building out new journeys, identify and build out segmentation. · Drive innovation within the member journey, develop new ideas and recommendations. · Manage all email and SMS automated flows, continually strategising potential improvements and opportunities to increase member retention and conversion · Write creative and persuasive copy for email and SMS campaigns and flows that drive engagement and conversions, while staying true to the Upstate tone of voice. · Conceptualise and design compelling and engaging email campaigns and other digital assets including app banners and digital ads. · Manage the member EDM content schedule, liaising with internal teams and external brand partners to create accurate comms that add value to the member experience Performance Marketing + Reporting ● Produce weekly membership reports and analyse data ● Run regular EDM + SMS campaign reports and make suggestions for improvements ● Analyse the performance of automated flows and make suggestions for improvements ● Conduct A/B testing of tools such as audience segments, subject lines and offers in order to analyse Upstate customer behaviour
General Marketing Support: ● Support the marketing team with content creation and other design and copy projects as required. ● Stay updated with industry trends to ensure our email marketing strategies are best practice.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications/business or a related field of study. · Minimum 2 year’s experience in an email marketing role. · Experience in design software such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. · Knowledge of email marketing best practices and experience using email marketing and CRM software. · Understanding of branding principles and ability to maintain brand consistency. · Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. · Highly creative · High attention to detail with design, grammar and tone of voice. · Highly analytical, able to understand email metrics and implement strategies to increase results.
This role primarily involves working from home but requires occasional in-person meetings at either our Geelong or Melbourne studio offices. |
