From a Perth, Western Australian garage to billions in client wins, Yappy is reshaping how complex B2B deals are done. Our Decision Chain Influence & Intelligence platform is the first of its kind, and it’s helping companies drive real outcomes in complex procurement deals like tenders, RFPs and enterprise sales, especially across the Energy, Mining, and Industrial Construction verticals.


We’re scaling fast locally and into North America on a mission to empower the best solutions to win more often to reshape industries and the world for the better.  We’re aiming for a $1B+ valuation by 2029 to fuel real-world impact along the way.

TEAM CONTEXT

Your new role is Yappy’s first full-time Marketing hire. You’ll work closely with US-based stakeholders and our Perth-based leadership team, with some async collaboration required.

This is a fully remote, US-based role, with working hours that have some overlap with Perth (AWST). Our first preference is for the role to be based in California. We're also open to other US West Coast locations in the same/similar timezone, or Austin, Texas.

YOUR IMPACT

We believe that great people make great companies. As our Head of Marketing, you’ll lead and contribute to this by:

  • Building a predictable US-focused demand generation engine that activates ICP target accounts (services/solutions firms selling into enterprise Energy, Mining, Industrial Construction and similar large, complex industries). 
  • Making marketing a material contributor to revenue growth through marketing-sourced and influenced pipeline.
  • Establishing Yappy as the category founder and leader in Decision Chain Influence & Intelligence.
  • Enabling Sales with clear positioning, proof, and pricing narratives that improve qualification quality and close rates.
  • Designing a documented, scalable marketing strategy, operating cadence, tools, and reporting.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll thrive at Yappy if you’re comfortable building from the ground up while keeping scale firmly in sight. This role suits someone who enjoys partnering closely with founders and executives, turning complex ideas into clear market momentum.

  • Significant, relevant experience leading B2B marketing in enterprise or complex sales environments with medium-to-long sales cycles.
  • Go-to-market expertise across positioning, demand generation, content, brand, and sales enablement.
  • Strong category and messaging capability, able to distil complex value into simple, compelling narratives.
  • Hands-on leadership style, executing personally today while designing and building systems and teams for tomorrow.
  • Collaborative mindset, partnering effectively with Sales, Product, and Leadership in fast-moving environments.
  • Values-led approach, demonstrating growth focus, openness, integrity, teamwork, curiosity, and energy in how you work.
