This role is hybrid, requiring three days per week onsite in our Needham, MA headquarters.  

Advisor360° is hiring a Senior Data Quality Engineer to ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of enterprise data platforms, transformation pipelines, and software applications. This role partners closely with Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Product, and Business teams to define testing strategies, build scalable automation solutions, and drive quality best practices across the organization.


Here’s What You’ll Do:   

  • Lead QA efforts across software and data engineering initiatives
  • Define testing strategies, quality standards, and best practices
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and regression suites
  • Validate ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformations, and data warehouse solutions
  • Develop automated data quality checks and reconciliation processes
  • Perform end-to-end testing of APIs, applications, and data products
  • Analyze large datasets using SQL to identify defects, anomalies, and data quality issues
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure adequate test coverage and quality throughout the development lifecycle
  • Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution activities
  • Participate in release validation, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other Agile ceremonies
  • Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives


What You Bring to the Table:  

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Data Quality Engineering, or Software Testing
  • Strong experience with SQL, database testing, and data validation
  • Experience testing ETL/ELT processes, data transformations, and cloud data platforms
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases; experience with Snowflake and MySQL is preferred
  • Experience with dbt is highly preferred
  • Experience with data quality/observability tools like Monte Carlo, Sifflet
  • Strong programming skills in Python and test automation frameworks
  • Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman and Swagger
  • Experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks
  • Familiarity with GitHub, Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience using AI-assisted development and testing tools such as Copilot and Augment
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience leading QA initiatives and driving quality best practices
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Financial services or fintech experience is a plus

The estimated base salary range for this position is $134,000–$156,000 + bonus & equity.
