About Nerdio
At Nerdio, our mission is to simplify the lives of IT professionals and maximize their Microsoft cloud and end user computing investments.
We support organizations of all sizes looking to deploy, manage, and cost-optimize native Microsoft technologies. We partner with Enterprises and Managed Service Providers all over the world to add value on top of their existing native Microsoft investments like Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, and Microsoft Intune.
Created in 2016, Nerdio has always taken a market-leading and collaborative approach to cloud deployment and management. In fact, our product roadmap is greatly influenced by the regular feedback we receive from having seen companies deploy AVD into production environments several thousand times using Nerdio technology.
Today, Nerdio is used in over 50 countries by more than 15,000 organizations of every size and vertical. We’re committed to delivering exceptional service and support, which starts with identifying and supporting the best staff possible.
We are a fast-moving, nimble company looking for individuals who are collaborative, empathetic, driven and who love to move at the speed of light. If you want to be part of the AVD transformation that Microsoft and Nerdio are leading, then we want to speak with you.
About the role
Nerdio is looking for an AI-forward Senior Video & Social Specialist to own the creation and distribution of video content and social media presence across Nerdio's channels. In this role, you'll produce high-quality video that educates, engages, and builds brand affinity — from product explainers and customer stories to social-first short-form content. You'll also help manage and grow our social presence across LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels, ensuring our content reflects the Nerdio brand voice and reaches the right audiences.
What you'll do
- Produce short-form video content optimized for social distribution, maintaining a high production cadence without sacrificing quality.
- Manage Nerdio's social media presence across LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and other relevant platforms — developing and executing a content calendar aligned to broader marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with PMM, demand gen, brand, and events teams to develop video and social content that supports campaign goals, product launches, and awareness initiatives.
- Leverage AI to improve the speed and quality of video creation and the build out of our social program
- Build out and manage our employee advocacy, as well as our executive social program.
- Own end-to-end video production for Nerdio — including scripting, filming, editing, and publishing — across formats including explainers, demos, customer stories, event recaps, and social-first content.
- Support NerdioCon and other major events with live and post-event video content, social coverage, and recap production.
- Monitor social media performance and community engagement — reporting on reach, engagement, follower growth, and content performance — and adjust strategy based on data.
- Stay current on video production trends, platform algorithm changes, and social media best practices to continuously improve content quality and reach.
- Manage video asset library and ensure content is accessible, organized, and reusable across teams.
- Partner with community and influencer programs to extend reach and amplify key content moments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Film/Media Production, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in video production and/or social media marketing, ideally in a B2B technology environment.
- Strong video production skills — proficiency with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent) and familiarity with filming equipment and techniques.
- Proven ability to manage social media channels and grow engagement in a professional B2B context.
- Strong storytelling instincts — ability to translate technical topics into engaging, accessible video and social content.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple productions and deadlines simultaneously.
