About Oxford Summer Courses

Founded by school friends and Oxford graduates, Oxford Summer Courses is part of the Summer Discovery Group. Instead, our tutors adapt each course to the specific interests and goals of the students attending.

About the role

Use your expertise to craft and deliver an inspiring Physics syllabus that challenges and empowers students on their academic and personal journey

We're looking for enthusiastic Physics tutors to deliver engaging, curiosity-driven courses to small groups of 18-24-year-olds. You'll design and teach your own Physics curriculum across a 2-week intensive course — whether that's unravelling the mysteries of quantum mechanics, tracing the physics of black holes and spacetime, or revealing how thermodynamic processes power everything from jet engines to the humble refrigerator. You'll foster a positive environment where students feel free to question, experiment and discover that Physics stretches far beyond anything they've encountered in the classroom.
