The Pozez Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia (Pozez JCC), located in Fairfax, Virginia, is a nonprofit, social service organization that builds community and enriches lives. Summary of Position:
The Pozez Jewish Community Center seeks a dynamic, flexible teacher to join our educational
team in Fairfax for our year-round, full-day early childhood center for infants through Pre-K at
the Pozez JCC's Early Childhood Learning Center. The ECLC is inspired by the Reggio Emilia
philosophy and our staff co-teach in a professional and collaborative environment.

Qualifications:
• All applicants must have experience working with young children, preferably within a classroom setting
• Must be organized and have excellent writing skills
• Must have experience working with young children in an early childhood setting

*CDA or Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred

Essential Position Duties:
• Implement the Reggio Emilia-inspired philosophy (Training provided)
• Maintain a cheerful, nurturing, healthy, safe and clean environment
• Communicate regularly with families and administrative staff
• Monitor growth and development of each child
• Protect the rights and privacy of children and families by maintaining strict
confidentiality
• Work towards increasing knowledge and abilities in the field of early childhood
education

Hours:
School is open Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm (assigned 8-hour shifts begin at 7:45am)
