About StrongMind:

StrongMind is a remote-first education and technology company on a mission to transform learning for students, families, and educators across the country. For more than 25 years, we’ve partnered with schools and districts to deliver innovative, student-centered learning experiences powered by technology, compassion, and bold thinking.

We believe education should be flexible, human, and built for real life. That belief shapes how we design our products, support our partners, and work together as a team. At StrongMind, you’ll find smart people doing meaningful work, a culture rooted in trust and accountability, and leaders who genuinely care about both outcomes and people.

The Team You Will Join:

You’ll be part of the Student Services team, working closely with special education staff, school leaders, teachers, and families. This team supports student success by ensuring students receive the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral supports they need to thrive. The team culture is collaborative, supportive, and mission-driven, with a strong focus on student advocacy, compliance, and meaningful outcomes for learners and families.

The Difference You Will Make:

In this role, your work will directly impact students and families by ensuring students receive appropriate evaluations, services, and support to help them succeed academically and socially. You’ll play a key role in the special education evaluation process, helping identify student needs, guiding intervention strategies, and collaborating with school teams to support positive student outcomes. Your expertise will help ensure that students receive the right services at the right time while supporting compliance with state and federal requirements.

A Typical Day Looks Like:

While no two days are exactly the same, you can expect to:

  • Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and re-evaluations as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Administer, score, and interpret intellectual, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments.
  • Participate in and facilitate meetings such as METs, IEPs, and crisis response teams.
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, families, and intervention teams to identify student needs and support strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure evaluations are completed within required timelines.
  • Collaborate with your supervisor and colleagues to review student cases, protocols, and best practices.

This role balances independent assessment work with strong collaboration and is well-suited for someone who enjoys supporting students, solving complex learning challenges, and partnering with educators and families.

Your Expertise Includes:

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • A Graduate degree in School Psychology.
  • A valid Arizona Standard School Psychologist, Prekindergarten–12 Certificate.
  • A valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Identity Verified Prints (IVP) fingerprint card.
  • Experience conducting psycho-educational evaluations and interpreting assessment data.
  • Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, educators, and administrators.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and composure in sensitive situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general reporting/documentation tools.

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Five or more years of experience working as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working in diverse or virtual learning environments.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student interventions and services.
