The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst for an ambitious and growing Engineering department. Reporting into the CTO, you will play a crucial role in becoming the bridge between technical and non-technical teams.

Role and Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, a strong grasp of the product, collaboration, adept communication abilities, and solid technical knowledge are crucial for success. Emphasising the significance of teamwork, communication, and a well-established documentation culture, this position is key within the Product & Engineering teams.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather functional requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.
• Able to write detailed technical Jira tasks for our Engineering team.
• Work with development, QA, release management, and other teams to ensure alignment during planning sessions.
• Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Support and update the prioritisation on the Product backlog.
• Create operationalisation guides for new features and ensure accounting/reporting aspects are covered.
• Maintain API documentation integrity across releases and propose bug remediation solutions.
• Assist in preparing presentations and management reports.
• Develop and maintain onboarding documentation for new team members

Qualifications

• Experience in a business analysis role in the delivery of complex systems
• Experience of eliciting and capturing requirements, using user stories and use cases, in a software development environment for the delivery of complex systems
• Background in software engineering, programming, or development practices.
• Take responsibility for writing high quality documentation
• Ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, and job-related knowledge.
