About the Role 

As an AR Specialist at EnergyCAP, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the financial health, accuracy, and scalability of a growing SaaS organization. This position owns key components of the accounts receivable lifecycle, ensuring accurate invoicing, strong collections, and reliable revenue data that leadership can trust. 


You’ll partner cross-functionally with Sales, Accounting, and Finance leadership to resolve issues, improve processes, and strengthen systems that directly support our customers and our mission. This role is ideal for someone who values ownership and accountability, enjoys improving workflows, and wants to make a visible impact on revenue operations. AIn your first 6–12 months, you’ll help streamline AR processes, reduce billing errors, improve collections performance, and contribute to clean, accurate, and scalable revenue operations. 


What You’ll Do 

  • Own customer invoicing end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with contracts and sales orders. 
  • Manage collections on open invoices, partnering with customers to resolve discrepancies and drive timely payment.
  • Perform quality control on sales orders and contract data, ensuring consistency between Salesforce and NetSuite.
  • Serve as a key liaison between Sales and Accounting for customer-facing billing and AR-related inquiries. 
  • Support revenue recognition execution, including ongoing maintenance of the revenue module. 
  • Partner with the Controller and Senior Accountant to identify, clean, and correct revenue data issues. 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of AR processes, documentation, and internal controls. 


What You’ll Bring 

  • 4–6 years of accounts receivable experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment. 
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite, including invoicing, collections, and AR management. 
  • Strong understanding of the full AR lifecycle, from billing accuracy to collections execution.
  • Experience supporting revenue recognition activities and maintaining revenue-related system data. 
  • Clear and professional communication skills when working with customers and internal stakeholders. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • High attention to detail, with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality control.
  • Analytical, proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of outcomes. 
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across Finance, Accounting, and Sales. 
  • Comfort identifying process gaps and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Experience working with Salesforce data and sales order workflows (preferred). 
  • Familiarity with SaaS revenue models and ASC 606 concepts (preferred). 


Pay Range: $55,000 - $60,000 with 3% annual bonus. 
Pay is commensurate with experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
