Key Responsibilities:


Here’s what you’ll dive into during your first 12 months: 

  • Consistently achieve quarterly and annual sales targets, demonstrating a results-oriented approach and driving revenue growth through strategic planning, effective lead management, and expert negotiation skills. 
  • Act as a trusted ambassador for the company, delivering clear, compelling messages that effectively communicate the unique value and competitive advantages of our solutions to diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to executive decision-makers. 
  • Deeply understand client business processes and objectives, identifying how EnergyCAP's solutions can address specific pain points and deliver measurable benefits, while positioning yourself as a knowledgeable consultant in their journey to success. 
  • Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of EnergyCAP's software, including its core functionalities, integrations, and benefits, ensuring you can confidently demonstrate its value and address technical inquiries during the sales process. 
  • Proactively relay customer insights and market feedback to internal teams, contributing to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for product enhancements, pricing strategies, and refined approaches to meet evolving client needs effectively. 

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven success in sales, ideally within the enterprise software sector, demonstrating a track record of driving growth and achieving targets. 
  • Exceptional live and in-person presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences and communicate complex ideas with clarity and confidence. 
  • Experience navigating multiple sales channels, leveraging a combination of direct sales and partner-based approaches to achieve results. 
  • Skilled in crafting and responding to formal Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring accurate, persuasive, and timely submissions that align with client requirements. 
  • Proven expertise in selling to both public and private sector clients, understanding the nuances and strategies required to engage with government entities and corporate organizations alike. 
  • Possesses strong proficiency with industry-standard tools, including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and webinar platforms, to support effective communication and project management. 
  • Experienced in using CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce, to track leads, manage sales pipelines, and maintain detailed customer records efficiently. 
  • Ideally possess a bachelor’s degree and/or familiarity with industries such as utility bill management, sustainability, and energy management, enhancing the ability to relate to client challenges and opportunities in these spaces. 

Pay Range$100,000 - 110,000 + Variable

Pay is commensurate on a variety of factors, including experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
