About the Role:

We're expanding our Business Development Representative (BDR) team in 2025 and hiring a Manager of Business Development to lead, mentor, and grow a team of up to 3 BDRs.  
 
In this hybrid role, you’ll work out of our Boalsburg, PA office 3 days a week. You'll drive pipeline development by coaching your team to qualify leads effectively, ask the right questions, and set our Account Executives up for success. Your ultimate goal? Develop top-tier sales talent, preparing them to step into Account Executive roles within a few years. 
 

You'll have everything you need to succeed—strong leadership support, mentorship from an experienced sales manager, and a powerful tech stack including Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Navigator. Key Responsibilities:

  • Train, mentor, and support a team of up to 3 business development representatives (BDRs). 
  • Provide ongoing coaching to help team members develop their skills and advance in their careers. 
  • Foster a collaborative and motivating office environment where the BDR team thrives. 
  • Develop a strong pipeline for account executives by qualifying inbound and outbound customer leads. 
  • Guide the team in asking smart, strategic questions to identify high-quality prospects. 
  • Ensure qualified leads are passed to account executives, setting them up for successful engagements. 
  • Prepare and mentor BDRs for future account executive roles through skill development and hands-on training. 
  • Support the professional growth of team members with structured development plans. 
  • Work closely with account executives and sales managers to align lead generation strategies. 
  • Partner with executive leadership and account management teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. 
  • Drive team performance by setting and monitoring key performance metrics. 
  • Provide regular feedback and hold team members accountable for meeting sales goals. 
  • Utilize the company’s sales stack, including Salesforce and other tools to manage pipelines and track performance effectively. 
  • Ensure the BDR team is proficient in the tools provided for maximum efficiency and results. 
  • This position requires a 100% in-office presence, emphasizing hands-on leadership and team collaboration. 

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • About 5-7+ years of experience in SaaS sales, coupled with 2-4 years of experience leading or managing a team of BDR's. 
  • Comfortable working out of our Boalsburg, PA office 3 days a week. 
  • Proven leadership experience, plus a playbook on building training programs, providing. constructive feedback, and coaching BDRs to enhance prospecting, cold calling, and email outreach effectiveness. 
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and with experience using KPIs and metrics to make business decisions. 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to align messaging, campaigns, and lead qualification processes. 
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Navigator or similar tools.  

Pay Range$90,000 – $100,000 base / $20k - $30k variable

Pay is commensurate on a variety of factors, including experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
