About the Role:

At EnergyCAP, building great software isn’t just what we do—it’s how we drive the energy industry forward. This is a high-impact role with broad responsibilities and collaboration across teams. If you're excited by crafting intuitive user experiences and the backend systems that power them, this is the role for you. You’ll split your time between developing scalable, reliable APIs and infrastructure, and bringing polished, high-performing user interfaces to life.


Key Responsibilities:

As a member of our R&D team, you’ll work alongside an amazing team of frontend and backend engineers. You'll play a key role in increasing velocity and delivering both frontend, UI features, along with backend, APIs.

  • Work collaboratively within a team environment to develop and support enterprise-level, browser-based software applications.
  • Build robust, well-documented, and versioned APIs that drive our products and integrate seamlessly into customer workflows.
  • Play a key role in ensuring our APIs are reliable, scalable, and built to the high quality standards.
  • Develop automated unit and integration tests to ensure code meets business requirements.
  • Develop new user-facing features and services.
  • Contribute to long-term strategy and roadmap

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in production-level, web application.
  • Expert level understanding of .NET and Javascript with a focus on .NET Core and Angular (think IOCP/epoll and currying).
  • A track record of building or maintaining scalable code, ensuring data quality, and supporting operational needs.
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate across teams.

Pay Range$100,000 - $130,000 with 3% annual bonus

Pay is commensurate on a variety of factors, including experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
