About the role

  • ·       System-Level Testing & Validation

o   Execute validation testing on 1500V DC energy storage vessels and racks

o   Support functional verification, protection logic testing, and performance validation

o   Perform system troubleshooting and fault analysis

o   Coordinate test results and technical findings with the global-based system engineering team

 

·       Cell-Level Testing & Documentation

o   Testing battery cell performance, editing cycling test procedures, and supervising data collection.

o   Analyzing and summarizing test data, developing data analysis templates, and plotting data curves.

o   Building testing platforms using data acquisition equipment, power supplies, sensors, and other hardware to meet R&D testing requirements.

o   Managing and documenting battery testing procedures, including defining test steps and troubleshooting test failures. Able to clearly communicate technical matters, scheduling considerations, deliverables, and technical requirements.

o   Responsible for the quality and reliability of test results. Identify abnormal results potentially caused by equipment issues.

 

·       Laboratory Support

o   Installation, debugging, regular maintenance, and follow-up on troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.

o   Complying with and maintaining standard operating procedures to ensure the lab remains safe, clean, and orderly.

o   Developing usage plans for test equipment based on testing requirements, including battery cell testing system channels and high/low temperature environmental chambers.

o   Collaborating with mechanical engineers and equipment suppliers to design, assemble, and document battery test fixtures.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in system testing, power systems, battery systems, or laboratory testing environments
  • Hands-on experience working with high-voltage DC systems (1000V+ preferred; 1500V strongly preferred)
  • High-voltage safety training or certification (NFPA 70E or equivalent)
  • Experience with laboratory instrumentation and test equipment
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and system diagrams
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and structured problem-solving approach
