Position Summary

The Janitor performs custodial duties to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of Entrust facilities and partner locations. This includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing, while ensuring compliance with safety standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sweep, scrub, mop, and vacuum floors
  • Dust desks, counters, chairs, and electronic equipment
  • Clean windows, doors, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
  • Empty trash receptacles (interior and exterior)
  • Disinfect and restock restrooms with paper products and soap
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supply inventory
  • Follow OSHA and MSDS safety standards
  • Lock/unlock building entrances as needed
  • Perform other cleaning duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation, valid WA driver’s license, and auto insurance
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

Preferred:

  • One year of janitorial experience

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Work sites include office, industrial, and production environments
  • Medium physical labor: frequently lift/move 10–25 lbs.; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and use cleaning equipment
  • Must have stamina, coordination, and ability to maintain balance and body control

Supervision

  • Reports to: Program Manager
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: None

The pay range for this role is:

17.19 - 20.89 USD per hour (Ellensburg Service Center)
