The Role
We are hiring a Finance Operations Analyst to support our Finance team through a combination of data entry, customer account processing, and wholesale checkout operations. This is an entry-level, part-time seasonal position designed for someone who is highly organized, detail oriented, and excited to build foundational skills in finance or business operations.
You will play a critical role in supporting Epic’s nationwide wholesale business by helping process seasonal customer checkouts, reviewing sell-through performance, and maintaining accurate customer records.
This role sits within the Finance department and works closely with Wholesale, Customer Service, and Operations teams. The primary focus of this role is wholesale checkout processing during Epic’s seasonal checkout window (approximately July–October).
What You Own
Wholesale Checkout & Customer Processing
• Process customer checkout transactions and settlements within our wholesale programs
• Review customer-submitted inventory and sales information for completeness and accuracy
• Assist customers and internal teams with checkout-related questions and documentation
• Ensure customer records and financial information are accurately maintained across systems
• Support seasonal checkout periods that involve high transaction volume and detailed recordkeeping
Sell-Through Reporting & Analysis
• Review customer sell-through reports and calculate sell-through percentages
• Analyze inventory movement and sales performance across wholesale accounts
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, or unusual trends requiring follow-up
• Assist in preparing checkout-specific reports used to evaluate customer performance
Data Entry & Financial Operations
• Enter, validate, and maintain checkout and wholesale program data within company systems
• Reconcile customer checkout records and supporting documentation
• Maintain organized files and audit trails for wholesale financial transactions
Who You Are
You enjoy working with numbers, details, spreadsheets, and business processes. You’re naturally organized, dependable, and take pride in producing accurate work. You have a strong attention to detail and enjoy solving problems when something doesn’t look right.
You’re comfortable performing repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy while also being curious enough to understand the bigger picture behind the work. You aren’t intimidated by large spreadsheets, data validation, or learning new systems.
Experience
• High school diploma required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred
• 0–2 years of professional experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
• Comfortable learning new software systems and business processes
Bonus If
• Previous experience in data entry, bookkeeping, finance, accounting, administration, or customer operations
• Familiarity with ecommerce, retail, inventory management, or wholesale businesses
• Experience working with ERP systems, CRM systems, or reporting tools
• Interest in gardening, sustainability, food, outdoor living, or consumer products

Our wholesale business serves thousands of retail locations across the country through a variety of customer programs and billing structures. Accurate sell-through reporting, customer settlements, and financial recordkeeping are critical to maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring the integrity of our financial results.
This role helps ensure our customers are processed accurately and our data remains reliable throughout the seasonal checkout window.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Compensation: $20.00 per hour
• Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week
• Employment Type: Part-Time, Seasonal (approximately July–October)
• Flexibility: We offer scheduling flexibility while maintaining accountability for deadlines and deliverables.
• Benefits: Eligible benefits will be based on employment classification and company policy.
