Role Overview
The Supply Chain / Operations Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, system integrity, and smooth order flow across ERP, ecommerce, and warehouse operations. This role is not responsible for routine data entry or transactional execution, but instead focuses on monitoring processes, identifying issues, and coordinating resolution across teams.
This role is ideal for a systems and process-oriented operations professional who understands how orders and inventory should flow through ERP, Shopify, and warehouse environments, and can proactively flag issues before they impact customers or financial results. This role is 2-3 days a week onsite in Broomfield, CO.
Key Responsibilities
Systems & Inventory Oversight (Primary Focus)
- Monitor inventory-related processes within NetSuite to ensure transactions are accurate and properly executed
- Validate inventory activities including returns, work orders, cycle counts, adjustments, and bin transfers
- Ensure bins, locations, weights, and dimensions are correctly maintained and audited
- Review inventory activity for discrepancies and flag issues for correction
- Maintain documentation for workflows and inventory-related process standards
Issue Identification & Delegated Troubleshooting (Including Order Flow)
- Serve as an early-warning signal for system, inventory, and order flow issues across Shopify, NetSuite, fulfillment partners, and 3PLs
- Monitor end-to-end order flow and identify exceptions such as allocation issues, inventory availability mismatches, and system sync failures
- Identify discrepancies between physical inventory, ERP records, ecommerce platforms, and warehouse reports
- Clearly define issues, escalate to the appropriate teams (Warehouse, Operations, Finance, IT, Customer Experience, or external partners), and track through resolution
- Perform root-cause analysis on recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements
- Own SOP documentation and updates related to issue resolution and process improvements
- Support testing and validation of system or workflow changes impacting order or inventory flow
Inventory Counts & Physical Support (Occasional)
- Occasionally assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts to support audits or discrepancy resolution
- Provide onsite support during inventory counts or high-risk reconciliation events
- Ensure count results are documented, explainable, and actionable
Logistics & Inbound Support (Minor — ~10%)
- Provide limited support for inbound logistics by assisting with the booking of international and domestic shipments
- Track inbound shipments at a high level and flag delays or risks
- Communicate shipment details to Operations and Warehouse teams
- Does not perform ERP receipt transactions, carrier negotiations, or freight strategy
Work Structure & Environment
- Hybrid role with 2 - 3 days per week onsite
- Majority systems-driven work performed remotely
- Occasional warehouse presence during counts or audits
Required Experience & Skills
- ERP experience (NetSuite strongly preferred)
- Shopify experience focused on order flow, integrations, or exception management
- Inventory reconciliation and audit experience
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and cross-functional communication skills
- Process-oriented mindset with high attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multi-warehouse or 3PL environments
- Familiarity with international shipping concepts (LCL, FCL, air freight)
- Intermediate Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Experience in ecommerce, CPG, or fast-growth operational environments

- Reduced repeat system and inventory errors due to improved processes
- Strong coordination across systems, warehouses, and internal teams

- Base Compensation: This role is an internal level of specialist with base compensation starting at $60,000 depending on location, experience, and industry demands.
- This role is eligible for a team performance bonus at 5%.
