ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic and data-driven Ecommerce Website Associate with experience in product management, ecommerce, and lifecycle marketing. This role is ideal for someone ready to optimize our ecommerce platforms, manage multiple revenue streams, and drive tactical execution at scale. You will work cross-functionally to ensure the seamless integration of content, ecommerce, and digital tools to deliver exceptional user experiences and measurable growth.


This position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for tactical execution, strong technical skills, and a results-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to work across two high-growth brands and has 2-5 years of product management experience, ideally in e-commerce.

WORKING HOURS & LOCATION

This is a remote role based in the US. At Epic Gardening, we reserve core working hours from 9 AM to 1 PM PST to ensure time for cross-functional collaboration.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & IMPACT

  • Manage and optimize Shopify storefronts, including shipping zones, product categories, and integrations with other tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all web properties are functional, up-to-date, and optimized for performance.
  • Optimize lifecycle marketing strategies (email, SMS, etc.), ensuring alignment with broader revenue and engagement goals.
  • Monitor and improve software automations, such as quiz tools and review engines, to maximize lead generation and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure seamless user journeys by integrating content platforms (e.g., WordPress) with Shopify, optimizing for engagement and conversions.
  • Manage promotional calendars and align channel-specific efforts with overall brand strategies.
  • Analyze performance metrics (Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, etc.) to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Take ownership of ecommerce revenue streams, ensuring all tactics align with growth goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operational teams to execute campaigns that drive traffic, conversions, and retention.
  • Optimize ecommerce workflows to ensure consistent functionality, troubleshooting issues live as necessary and collaborating with customer service and logistics teams as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement solutions that scale.

OUR INTERVIEW PROCESS

Our interview process for this role should take ~2.5 hours of your time in total. Normally, the process will look something like this:

  • A 20-25 min introductory chat with People & Culture to see if we think we’re a mutual fit
  • A 30-60 min chat with the hiring manager, Peter Tomassi, VP of Growth, to understand your skills & background as well as understand our current landscape
  • A 30 minute panel discussion with key stakeholders you’d be working with on a day-to-day basis
  • A 20-25 min final call with hiring manager to wrap up

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS & PERKS

  • Base Compensation: This role is an internal level of associate with base compensation starting at $70,000 depending on location, experience, and industry demands.
  • This role is eligible for an annual team performance bonus at 5%.
