ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Content Team and play a crucial role in keeping our content production organized, efficient, and on track. You’ll be responsible for managing projects from ideation to execution, ensuring smooth workflows across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, experience working with creative teams, and a solid understanding of content production across social media, video, and digital platforms.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & IMPACT

  • Develop and manage project timelines, content calendars, and production workflows.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring content projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  • Track progress, identify bottlenecks, and proactively solve problems to keep projects moving.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between content creators, video editors, post production team, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate clear communication by documenting project details, deadlines, and expectations.
  • Work closely with the editorial and production teams to align content with business goals.
  • Understand the nuances of content production across video (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram), blogs, and other digital platforms.
  • Ensure content workflows accommodate different formats, styles, and publishing requirements.
  • Assist in resource planning, ensuring the right people are assigned to the right projects.
  • Improve project management systems and tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Document best practices and help refine processes to scale content production.

ABOUT YOU

  • 3-4 years of experience in project management, preferably within a content, media, or creative environment.
  • Strong understanding of content production processes across multiple platforms (social media, video, blogs, etc.).
  • Experience working with content creators, video producers, designers, and creative teams.
  • Highly organized with a knack for managing multiple projects at once.
  • Strong communication skills—able to balance creative needs with project deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Asana, Trello, Monday.com, Notion, or similar).
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges before they arise.
  • Familiarity with social media and digital trends is a plus.

OUR INTERVIEW PROCESS

Our interview process for this role should take ~4 hours of your time in total. Normally, the process will look something like this:

  • A 20-25 min introductory chat with People & Culture to see if we think we’re a mutual fit
  • A 30-60 min chat with the hiring manager to understand your skills & background as well as understand our current landscape
  • A 45 minute panel discussion with key stakeholders you’d be working with on a day-to-day basis
  • A 20-25 min values & behavior alignment chat with our Founder & CEO, Kevin Espiritu or our President, Elliott Wilke to discuss what you bring to the role, how you might embody our values, and future vision for Epic Gardening


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS & PERKS

  • Base Compensation: This role is an internal level of specialist with base compensation starting at $70,000 depending on location, experience, and industry demands.
