About the Team

Our team is made up of passionate ex-Stripe and Square leaders and engineers who’ve built and scaled products at some of the most respected companies in fintech. We believe in the power of design and engineering to create seamless, impactful experiences. Our team is small but mighty, consisting of design engineers, foundation engineers, and product builders who all share a deep commitment to craft, user research, and innovation.

Role Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious Growth Marketer to join Era’s team to craft our positioning and product messaging, while expanding our narrative on Era.app. We’ve recently announced our seed round and have high ambitions to expand our reach. This is a high-impact role, demanding strategic thought and comfort with ambiguity. 

What you'll do

In this role, you’ll work closely with Era’s founding partners to craft its product marketing and expand its go-to-market efforts. As the lead, you’ll craft best-in-class narrative to convey Era’s mission in redefining what wealth means to those that otherwise might not have access to it. In this role, the success of product marketing is entirely in your hands. 

In this role, you will:
  • Product Marketing: Partner with the founders to gain a deep understanding of our target audience to identify and manage marketing opportunities, ranging from web to social to influencer campaigns. Plan and execute growth initiatives and go-to-market motions of upcoming feature launches.
  • Content Marketing: Develop a thorough understanding of Era’s user base to build a complete picture of how Era can support their financial journey, while expanding our existing content roadmap, to establish Era as a thought leader.
  • Community Engagement: Ideate and implement new B2C growth initiatives across channels to boost traffic and conversions to paid users.
  • Strategic Pricing: Collaborate with the founders to expand Era’s pricing models to convey product adoption and usage.
What we're looking for
  • 5-8+ years of GTM experience, particularly in consumer fintech.
  • Successful track record with technically complex, disruptive products.
  • Experience with marketing consumer-first, financially led products.
  • Strong communication skills, with a bias for succinctness and clarity.
  • Intellectual curiosity, a comfort with ambiguity, and a knack for structured problem solving
  • Past early-stage startup experience with diverse responsibilities across growth, marketing, and community.
