Overview


We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Operations Manager to oversee and optimize daily operations while driving operational excellence across the organization. The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for leading operational teams, improving business processes, managing resources, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality products and services. This role partners with cross-functional leaders to enhance operational performance, support strategic initiatives, and achieve organizational goals. Success in this position requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, financial acumen, and a commitment to continuous improvement, safety, and customer satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring efficient execution of business activities and achievement of operational objectives.
  • Develop and implement operational plans, policies, and procedures that improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage operational budgets, forecasts, resource allocation, and cost-control initiatives to achieve financial targets.
  • Oversee workforce planning, scheduling, equipment utilization, and operational resource management.
  • Support project planning and execution by coordinating operational resources and resolving issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, quality standards, and health and safety programs.
  • Ensure safety is embedded in all improvement efforts, including risk assessments and corrective action planning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Construction Management, or a related field; experience can be used in lieu of education.
  • Experience
    • 7+ years of experience in operations, business performance, or continuous improvement roles.
    • 3+ years working in a leadership role.
    • Strong background in workplace safety or safety leadership; water restoration, construction, or industrial services experience a plus.
    • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement frameworks (preferred).
    • Proven ability to develop and execute operational strategies that improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
    • Experience implementing enterprise-wide process improvements, operational excellence initiatives, and organizational change.
  • Skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Strong understanding of project management principles, operational risk management, and organizational change.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strategic focus in a fast-paced environment.
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
