Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Lead Engineer to drive mobile quality engineering, lead automation strategy, and ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile applications. This role combines technical leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on automation development, all to support a best of breed suite of mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute comprehensive mobile testing strategies for iOS and Android applications.
• Develop, maintain, and manage test plans covering functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing.
• Lead and mentor QA engineers in building scalable mobile automation frameworks and scenario-based testing approaches.
• Collaborate closely with mobile developers, product managers, designers, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Analyze daily regression results, identify defects, and coordinate resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Track, analyze, and communicate sprint-level quality metrics, automation effectiveness, and release readiness.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and process improvements to improve mobile application quality and delivery speed.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of QA experience with deep expertise in architecting and implementing scalable mobile automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, Maestro, Detox, XCUITest, Espresso).
• Proven track record in designing reliable, high-performance automation suites and test strategies for complex mobile environments.
• Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across mobile platforms and supporting systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and product leadership.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in driving quality engineering initiatives, mentoring teams, and fostering a culture of excellence in mobile automation.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a QA Automation Lead for mobile applications.
• Experience with leveraging AI to improve product quality and test automation (test generation, self-healing tests, etc.)
• Experience building quality engineering dashboards and reporting metrics such as automation coverage, release quality, defect leakage, and test execution trends.
• Experience implementing shift-left testing practices and quality gates within mobile CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in the financial services, fintech, or wealth management domain.
