Position Summary:

As a Commercial Installer at Airo Mechanical, you will play a pivotal role in our install execution process for our commercial customers. You will be responsible for leading the installation of commercial HVAC projects at the direction of the Project Manager. Your team will include installers assigned based on knowledge and skill level appropriate to the project. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with a talented team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead installation projects for commercial HVAC projects as assigned by Project Manager.
  • Provide leadership to Commercial Installers assigned to projects including job directions, training, coaching and confirm quality of work.
  • Ensure all job equipment and materials are available for projects and sequenced for appropriate installation.
  • Coordinate with internal and external customers to ensure efficient and quality installations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.
  •   Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the labor force as necessary.
  •   Ensure the installs meet quality requirements.
  •    Provide ancillary support for warranty and specific service calls when necessary.
  •    Ensure positive customer experience for the install process.  
  •    Be eager and willing to collaborate with all levels of job duties.
  •    Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in multi-family, or related field is preferred.
  •   Proven experience in HVAC installation, particularly in commercial settings.
  •   HVAC License a plus
  •   Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  •   Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  •    Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations.
  •    Procore knowledge and understanding preferred.
  •    Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, codes, and industry best practices.
  •    Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  •    Proficiency in software and tools (e.g., Sales Force, Excel, Office products). 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time.
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
  • Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Frequently remains in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Frequently makes substantial repetitive movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Frequently moves and raises materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Frequently communicates with the public (e.g., potential clients, job candidates, vendors) via phone, email, and in-person, as well as colleagues, on assigned tasks and projects.
