You are a tech-savvy communicator, project manager, and partner who thrives in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment. You bring proven expertise in registration and attendee management platforms, a mastery of deadlines, and amazing attention to detail. 

You enjoy building strong client relationships, collaborating with internal teams and vendor partners, and recommending solutions that bring branded experiences to life. 

The Role at a Glance: 

  • Title: Associate Program Manager 
  • Reports to: Lead, Program Manager
  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt 
  • Location: Remote (U.S. business hours), travel required (35%+)

Key Responsibilities: 

Client & Program Management 

  • Develop and maintain client relationships by building trust and delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Oversee and manage all program elements, including site visits, hotel sourcing, room blocks, creative, production, travel, onsite management, vendor partnerships, and staffing.
  • Ensure operational processes and procedures are followed and meet or exceed program deadlines.
  • Use expertise to craft solutions, assist with, and recommend attendee experience technology on assigned programs.
  • Provide ongoing, clear direction and communication to clients and all team members, including vendor partners.

Budget, Reconciliation & Reporting 

  • Develop and manage program budgets and meet client budget requirements. 
  • Maintain cost savings and avoidance data to maximize program value. 
  • Deliver final reconciliations within client timelines. 
  • Provide post-program evaluation feedback and thorough trip reports. 

 

Qualifications and Key Skills: 

Required 

  • Ability to build and/or manage a program budget.
  • Client relationship building and management skills.
  • Strong listening, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Collaborative approach to working with internal teams and vendor partners.
  • Ability to assess feedback and needs and recommend solutions.
  • Mastery of deadlines and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
  • Amazing attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel 35% or more for site visits and onsite program execution.
