About You

About the role

  • You'll provide top-notch customer service via email and phone, support payment processing, track shipments, and ensure smooth operational flow. Ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of call center or service experience. You'll also help manage administrative tasks, update databases, and coordinate with internal departments to resolve client issues and support our growing logistics operations.

What you'll do

  • Handle general inquiries and complaints, as directed by Operations Supervisor or Manager.
  • Assist in answering general inquiries, resolving customer complaints and / or directing them to the appropriate department.
  • Suggest solutions and provide customer support by email or phone when necessary
  • Process customer requests in accordance with the loading facility's instructions, except ACH payments that are exclusively managed by Supervisors
  • At the request of a customer: a) track the cargo; b) send payment receipt; and / or c) contact a freight center to verify a payment
  • If applicable, communicate facility rates to customers in case of increase, as would be reflected on their CS invoice
  • Process payments, Update payment status.
  • Keep track of estimated time of arrival of the cargo and follow up with facilities portals.
  • Update the database if there are changes in the rates of the loading facilities.
  • If necessary, correct the AWB/MBL/HBL number and notify all parties
  • Contact the courier for updates on checks sent for delivery and / or request that it be canceled.
  • Notify or forward a customer to the CS Billing Department if a payment has been canceled, an invoice requires additional billing or partial refund.
  • Transfer a customer to Collections if for Credit Holds or request a credit increase from CargoSprint.
  • Transfer customer to AR for payment details to CargoSprint.
