Private Piano Teacher

About Cincinnati School of Music

Cincinnati School of Music is the largest private music school in Greater Cincinnati, serving more than 1,000 students each week across five locations. Founded in 2012, CSM provides private music lessons for students of all ages and experience levels in piano, voice, guitar, violin, drums, and many other instruments.

Our school combines the professionalism of an established music education organization with the warmth of a local family-run business. Our faculty includes experienced educators and performing musicians who care about helping students grow musically and personally.

Teachers at Cincinnati School of Music benefit from a steady stream of students, a collaborative teaching community, and administrative support that allows them to focus on teaching. Our goal is to create a positive, well-supported lesson experience for students, families, and teachers.

Cincinnati School of Music is hiring private piano teachers across our five Greater Cincinnati locations: Olde Montgomery, Mason, Anderson, Maineville, and Middletown. Openings vary by location based on student demand, teacher availability, and scheduling fit.

If you are open to more than one CSM location, you only need to apply once. Please apply to the posting that best matches your preferred instrument and location, then note any additional locations where you would be willing to teach.

Teachers at CSM are W-2 employees, not contractors. CSM covers half of payroll taxes, provides biweekly pay stubs, and offers a 3% SIMPLE IRA match for eligible employees. Teachers are paid for student no-shows and late cancellations.

Our administrative team handles scheduling, billing, parent communication, and recital logistics so teachers can focus on teaching.
