Content Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary

We're looking for a creative and performance-driven Content Marketing Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll sit at the intersection of content creation, paid media, and artist marketing, producing compelling short-form video ads, running and optimizing Meta campaigns, and contributing your creative energy across the broader business. You'll work closely with a Project Manager on artist launches and bring a genuine love of music culture to everything you do.


Responsibilities

Content Creation & Editing

  • Create and edit short-form video ads optimized for Meta and other social platforms (CapCut proficiency required)
  • Support other parts of the business with editing or short-form content production as needed
  • Assist in developing creative assets that reflect strong artist branding and music culture instincts
  • Execute all work with strong attention to detail and a performance mindset

Paid Media & Campaign Management

  • Help optimize campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) with a data-driven approach
  • Coordinate with third-party ad campaign companies as required, managing relationships and ensuring deliverables are met
  • Track content performance across channels and identify what's working — sharing insights to inform creative and campaign strategy
  • Build and maintain reporting on campaign results, content effectiveness, and audience engagement

Artist & Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Project Manager on artist launches, from planning through execution
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative and strategy teams to align content with broader marketing goals
  • Contribute ideas and stay current on social media trends to keep content fresh and culturally relevant
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications 

  • Excellent video editor with a performance marketing mindset, you care about results, not just aesthetics
  • Up to date on social media trends, especially in music, culture, and entertainment verticals
  • Self-starter who takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what to do
  • Creative, organized, and detail-oriented, you can manage multiple projects without dropping the ball
  • Strong passion for music and an instinctive understanding of artist branding and music culture
  • Experience or education in marketing, digital media, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager
  • Comfortable working with third-party vendors or agencies and keeping them accountable
  • Analytical mindset, you know how to read performance data and turn it into action

Pay Scale

  • $60,000 - $65,000 (CAD) per year
  • The final compensation within this range will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.
